The Copyright Widget in UAE Lite helps you automatically display the current year and your site’s name keeping your website’s copyright statement up to date without manual changes. It’s simple, responsive, and perfect for the footer of any website.

How to Use the Copyright Widget

With this widget, you can display a copyright message like:

Copyright © 2025 Your Website Name. All rights reserved.

And the best part? You won’t need to update the year manually every January!

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Drag and Drop the Widget
    • Open your page using Elementor.
    • Search for Copyright in the widget panel.
    • Drag and drop the widget into your desired section (usually the footer).

  2. Customize Your Message
    • You can enter your custom text in the editor and use dynamic shortcodes for live data.
    • Example: Copyright © [hfe_current_year] [hfe_site_title]. All rights reserved.

  3. Style the Text
    • All styling options are available directly within the Content tab under the widget settings.

Styling Options

  • Link: Convert your copyright text into a clickable link if needed.
  • Alignment: Choose how the text is aligned.(left, center, or right)
  • Text Color: Set the color of your copyright text to match your site’s design.
  • Typography: Customize the font, size, weight, line height, and letter spacing for the text.

Available Shortcodes

Use the following shortcodes within the widget text to display dynamic information:

  • Current Year:
    [hfe_current_year]
    This will always show the current year automatically (e.g., 2025).

  • Site Title:
    [hfe_site_title]
    This will fetch and display the site name you set in WordPress settings.

Example Output

If your site title is Electronic Store and the year is 2025, the following shortcode:

Copyright © [hfe_current_year] | Powered by [hfe_site_title]. All rights reserved.

Will display:

Copyright © 2025 | Powered by Electronic Store. All rights reserved.

Responsive and Easy to Use

This widget is fully responsive and adjusts perfectly across all devices. You can place it anywhere, but it’s commonly used in the footer area for best visibility.
